Child Pornography Blocking

Background

Child pornography, which abuses children's human rights, has been a big problem in Japan and abroad these days.
In response to this, while administrative agencies, such as the Cabinet Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the National Police Agency, and civilian organizations have worked to bar out child pornography, the Telecommunications Carriers had considered to prevent disseminating and browsing pornographic contents of children.

Our measures
We will take measures to prevent disseminating and browsing pornographic contents of children in order to protect children from the damage caused by spreading the contents through the Internet. We will block access to websites based on a list made by the Internet Content Safety Association through SpinNet.

Starting Date : April 21, 2011 (Thu.)
Concerning : Customers using SpinNet service for Internet connection
