This is mail filtering service that perform incoming mail refusal and/or forwarding with designated condition.
2. Is there a condition of applying to service? |
If it is customer of SpinNet, anyone is available.
3. Are any special settings required? |
After service registration, you have to set condition of Mail Filtering Service.
Please perform setting than setting change Web of MYHOME.mail or MYHOME.mail lite.
This service does not function till it is set a condition.
Nothing is set when you register.
4. How do I perform setting? |
You can set conditions on Setting Change Web of MYHOME.mail or MYHOME.mail lite.
5. Please explain the application registration/cancellation procedures. |
Mail Filtering Service application registration/cancellation should be completed at the Customer Information Change Menu.
6. How much period does it take to the service use beginning? |
You are able to use it at once after application
7. Is an additional fee charged for the Mail Filtering Service? |
No additional fee is charged on top of the regular monthly SpinNet fee.
8. Is there the period of the shortest using? |
No.
9. Is there a report after the application? |
We will send you an email of registration on application.
1. Are two or more application possible? |
In one email address, it is able to have one registration. And you are able to register in the additional email address.
2. What function is "Rejecting / Receiving messages"? |
The function filters incoming emails with condition you set.
* Incoming refusal : The emails which fell under a condition are divided SPAM Mail Box or deleted.
* Incoming permittion : All emails which fell under a condition are received.
3. Is complete email address necessary to set condition of "incoming refusal"? |
Setting is possible in a part of e-mail address.
4. Can I reject unsolicited mails ? |
Yes, you can set it.
5. Is the information E-mail from SpinNet or SoftBank sent? |
Yes. We will send you important mail from SpinNet/SoftBank, even if you set a condition " Incoming refusal".
6. What item can I set as Mail Filtering? |
You are able to set forwarding condition 10 patterns.
7. What item can I set as a forwarding condition? |
You are able to set conditions by a combination of "sender e-mail address", "subject", "incoming time", and "incoming a day of a week".
8. Is it notified when the error occurs? |
Yes, it is. We send an error message to a sender of an email from a forwarding address when a transfer error occurred.
9. Can I stop temporarily the function of automatic forwarding? |
Yes, you can. Please set "invalidate it" of "Mail Filtering rule setting " on Setting Change Web. The patterns that you set are maintained.
1. I have chosen "leave copy of the messages on the server", but it is not left. Why? |
Do you have setting "Mail forwarding Service"?
If you have chosen "NOT leave copy", the messages is not left on the server. Please check your setting.
2. What function is "Fowarding messages"? |
The function forwards incoming emails to another email address condition you set.
3. Can I preserve the forwarding email? |
You are able to set leaving copy on the server or deleting by your setting.
* Only mail forwarding is done when the mailbox is full.
4. I do not want to receive whole sentence and attached file when I set an email address of mobile phone to forward. |
You are able to set condirions "Whole sentence transfer (with a file)", "whole sentence trasnfer (no file)" and "Cut trasnfer". When you choose "Cut traswnfer", it can forward an email after having divided an email to 5 at the maximum.
5. Is email header size included in the number of bytes that I chose at "Cut transfer"? |
The number of bytes that you chose at "Cut transfer" does not include mail header size.
6. Can the function forward an email to plural addresses? |
You are able to set forwarding condition 10 patterns.
