Prepare the following pieces of information in advance. These were displayed on screen when you subscribed. You will also find them on the Access Information Sheet sent to you. In the following description, they are shown in green. Replace with your own details.

Launch Netscape Mail & Newsgroups. From "Edit", select "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings" to open the "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings" window. Click on "Add Account" to open the Account Wizard. Click on the "Next >" button.

"New Account Setup" is displayed. Check "Email account" and click on "Next >".

"Identity" is displayed. Enter the information as listed below and click on "Next >".

User's name
E-mail Address:
Your mail address
*Your Name: Use of half-size letters is recommended rather than full-size characters such as kanji. For the mail address, use half-size lower-case characters.

"Server Information" is displayed. Enter the information as shown below, and click on "Next >".
Select the type of incoming server you are using:
POP

Outgoing Server:

"User Names" is displayed. Enter the information as shown below and click on "Next >".

"Account Name" is displayed. Enter the information as shown below and click on "Next >".

"Congratulations!" is displayed. Check the settings. Click on "Finish" to close the Account Wizard. Proceed to step 8.

From the "Edit" menu, select "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings" to open the "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings" window . From the left menu, select "Outgoing server (SMTP)" and set as follows. And then click "OK" button.
The settings are now completed.

Click on the "Compose" button and create a mail you want to send.

Once you have composed your mail, select "Send Later" from the "File" menu.

From the "File" menu, select "Get New Messages", and retrieve mail (no mail may be received).

From the "File" menu again, select "Send Unsent Messages" to send mail.
Mail you failed to send is stored in the "Unsent Messages" folder: simply use this to resend. If you are still connected, click on "Send Unsent Message" from the "File" menu to resend.
Note that after receiving mail, no mail can be sent once you clear the connection. In the following cases, receive mails again before sending mails.
If no mail has been received
After receiving mail, if you clear the connection
After receiving mail, about 10 minutes or more is elapsed
The connection will not be automatically cleared after sending mails. Note that you will need to clear it manually as necessary.
