Renewal of the SpinNet Mail services

Dear Customer,

Thank you for using SpinNet. We proudly announce that SpinNet mail services have been renewed. In order for more customers to use our mail service in more secure environment, we offer various advantages by releasing the new "Mail Filtering Service", offering Spamblocker charge free, and so on. Furthermore, we released the new webmail services as well. We will try to serve you better and look forward to your continuous support.

Details are as follows:

1) The outline of the renewal SpinNet mail services have been renewed to enhance security and convenience. Details about the renewal are listed below:

1. Releasing "SpinNet Mail Filtering Service"

You can reject, receive or forward emails according to various conditions you specified freely. http://www.spinnet.jp/service/mail/filteringe.html

2. Providing Spamblocker free of charge.

Monthly basic fee of Spamblocker is waived completely and all SpinNet members can use Spamblocker for free from April, 2007. Also, the specification of Spamblocker is partially modified, including behaviors when filtering spams, the capacity of a spam mail box, and so on. 3. Renewal of "MYHOME.mail", the SpinNet's webmail service.

SpinNet released 3 types of webmail that you can creatively use depending on your access environments or purposes. http://www.spinnet.jp/myhome.mail/indexe.html MYHOME.mail : The Ajax version functions just like your usual mail software. MYHOME.mail lite : The HTML version focused on simple operation. MYHOME.mail mobile : The mobile phone version allows you to send and receive mails.

4. Releasing "POP/SMTP over SSL"

If you prefer more advanced security, we recommend you to use "POP/SMTP over SSL", which is the encrypted communication when sending and receiving emails. You need to set up your email software to use "POP/SMTP over SSL". How to set up : http://www.spinnet.jp/man/indexe.html#ps_ossl

5. Mail box capacities have been changed.

The capacity of a mail box becomes 30MB from 20MB. The spam mail box is included in the maximum capacity of 30MB if you use the SpinNet Spamblocker. http://www.spinnet.jp/service/indexe.html#03

6. SpinNet Mail Virus Check Service specs are partially modified.

3) Notes "Keitai de your mail" has been terminated on April 23, 2007. Please use the new "MYHOME.mail mobile" when you check your SpinNet mails from your mobile phone.
