SpinNet adopts POP before SMTP for e-mail services for security reason. With the POP before SMTP method, the user must be identified by receiving E-mail first. Then, only the rightful user will obtain authentication to send E-mail. Please refer to the Settings Guide above and modify your settings for your mail software. |

POP/SMTP over SSL start from April 23th, 2007. For applicable customers, see the Settings Guide to change mail software settings. |

SpinNet provides Outbound Port25 Blocking from June, 2006 to combat spam mail. OP25B denies sending mail that does not use the SpinNet mail server (TCP Port 25). Internet Services Provider (ISP) companies use the OP25B for sending mail, and reducing spam mail across the entire Internet. Mail software settings may need to be changed with the OP25B. Check for details from this page. For applicable customers, see the Settings Guide to change mail software settings. |

The authentication method will be changed late in November, 2006. Due to this change, customers need to change their Email software settings. Without this settings, customers can not send and receive Emails after system change. For more details, please refer to this page. |
