[Important] Announcement for Firmware update of the equipment
with VoIP functionality

Dear SpinNet Customers,

 Thank you very much for using SpinNet.

 We have been informed that when using the modem with VoIP function and the equipment with VoIP functionality provided by NEC AccessTechnica Ltd. continuously for approximately 6 years and 9 months (81 month/2495 days), incoming and outgoing VoIP Telephony calls cannot be made.

 Customers using the equipment with VoIP functionality, please access to the following website to update firmware to the latest version.

 We apologize for any inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Concerning - Customers using the eADSL modem with VoIP function for SpinNet eADSL Service
- Customers using the Telephony Adapter provided by KDDI for "SpinPhone for FLET'S"
Effect Incoming and outgoing VoIP Telephony calls can not be made when using the modem with VoIP function and the equipment with VoIP functionality continuously for approximately 6 years and 9 months.
This problem depends on the shipping time of the equipment, but this problem will not occur before November 2009.
This problem will only effect VoIP Telephony calls, and internet connectivity will not be effected.

* Unplug the power adapters and plug in, and restarting the equipment will be counted from that date.
