Introducing Japan Telecom's New "BB Mobile Point" Public Wireless LAN Service

Thank you for using JENS SpinNet.
We are pleased to inform you that Japan Telecom's "Mobile Point" public wireless LAN service and Softbank BB's "Yahoo! BB Mobile" will be consolidated on Monday, October 3, 2005. The new integrated service will be called "BB Mobile Point."
Following this consolidation, JENS SpinNet will start to support BB Mobile Point. BB Mobile Point will be available in areas currently covered by Yahoo! BB Mobile and Mobile Point.
Currently, Mobile Point and Yahoo! BB Mobile allow customers to access using separate WEP keys and SSIDs. However, customers can access BB Mobile Point with a single WEP key and SSID.

How to use
JENS SpinNet customers can utilize this service by taking their Note PCs and wireless LAN cards to any BB Mobile Point service area, and using their regular JENS SpinNet login ID and Password.
Before using this service, it is nessessary to set up the WEP key and SSID for JENS SpinNet customers.

Cutomers using Yahoo! BB Mobile need to acquire a new WEP key and SSID in order to access BB Mobile Point. To obtain a new WEP key and SSID for BB Mobile Point, visit the homepage indicated above.

Because of maintenance work required for network consolidation, Yahoo! BB Mobile Zone will not be available from 18:00 on October 2 to 10:00 on October 3, 2005. BB Mobile Point will be available at 10:00 on October 3.
