Trouble report of JENS SpinNet Email System

Dear JENS SpinNet Member:

Thank you very much for using JENS SpinNet.

We greatly apologize for your inconvenience that was caused by the trouble with our Email system on June 14, 2004.

The following are the details of the trouble.

Time and Date June 14, 2004 9:42 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Effect
1)  Some customers were not able to send Email via our mail server.
2)  There was a delay in sending Email both to and from customers.
Cause Email server was overloaded, since there was a trouble with the virus definition file provided by Symantec, and it took a while to detect new virus "W32.Erkez.B@MM" for each Email.

Recovery Procedures
1)  Enhancement of the system surveillance by working in partnership with@Symantec.
2)  Enhancement of our Email server for the load sharing of Email system.
