| 1. How does Spam Filtering System work? |
This system will automatically determine IP addresses from which the senders send large volumes of UCEs and will handle preferentially emails inbound from IP addresses other than senders of UCEs.
| 2. How does this system determine the senders of UCEs? |
We refer to the data base offered by Symantec Co., which accuracy of detection is highly evaluated.
| 3. What will happen to the emails sent from IP address determined as UCE sender? |
Emails from IP address determined as UCE sender will not be delivered soon.
SpinNet does not delete emails from SpinNet mail server but only limits receiving of e-mail.
| 4. Is there a chance that usual emails are determined as UCE? |
The system determines emails based on analysis result of large amount of emails offered by Symantec Co.
Its rate of wrong detection is very low, therefore, there is little worry that it will adversely affect usual sending and receiving emails.
| 5. I would like not to apply this system to my correspondences. |
We apply the system to all SpinNet customers.
It is not possible to correspond to the setting change of each customer.
| 6. Should I use Spambloker and/or Mail Filtering Service as well? |
Spam Filtering System is different from Spambloker and/or Mail Filtering Service. Used with Spambloker and/or Mail Filtering Service at the same time, you will be able to use email services under more secure environment.
