About World IPv6 Launch

Dear Customer,

Thank you very much for using SpinNet.

Due to the expantion of Internet services and increasing the number of people using the Internet along with the popularization of broadband, a large number of IPv4 addresses (IPv4 is the standard of the Internet Protocol) has been consumed and depleted.

To take action to this situation, "World IPv6 Day" took place in June last year. It is a global-scale test flight of IPv6 being led by the Internet Society(ISOC *1).
Following the test flight, "World IPv6 Launch" will start on June 6, 2012. According to this event, major Internet service contents will be permanently provided with IPv6.

Please allow us to inform you of this news because this may cause some trouble using the Internet.

*1 The Internet Society (ISOC) is a nonprofit organization to provide leadership in Internet related standards, education and policy.
