Q1. I cannot open the set up page for the eADSL/SpinPhone for eADSL modem. Why?

Q1. I cannot open the set up page for the eADSL/SpinPhone for eADSL modem. Why?

Please check your OS (Operating System) and browser. If your system is not supported by the eADSL/SpinPhone for eADSL modem, then you may have trouble opening the set up page using your browser.

Q2. I am having trouble making an inter-city call.

You need to dial the area code first even when dialing a number within the city.

Q3. Sometime I cannot hear anything right after dialing.

This is not the trouble. It is the way the "SpinPhone for eADSL" dial the number and it takes more seconds than your NTT line.

Q4. There is no dial tone when I pick up the phone.

It takes about 5 seconds for you to hear the dial tone from your telephone.

Temporarily, there may be trouble with the quality of the line. Please try again later. If the trouble continues, then please contact the customer support center.

Q6. When I call using "SpinPhone for eADSL", I often hear noises and pauses during the conversation.

It may occur under the following conditions:

  1. When Internet traffic is unexpectedly high
  2. When the link up speed becomes less than 500kbps
  3. During the night time when the traffic is very busy, especially from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
  4. When you are sending and receiving a large files, such as using FTP.
  5. When your phone protective device is effecting eADSL connection.
  6. When some electric devices, such as microwave, are located around telephone cable.

Q7. When I call a number starting with 050 it cannot be reached.

The power of recipient's eADSL/SpinPhone for eADSL modem maybe turned off.

Q8. Can I use speed dial to make calls through "SpinPhone for eADSL"?

You need to check the registered phone number for the speed dial.
If the area code is not included,then you have to add it to the registered phone number.
If the registered phone number is required to be dialed through your NTT line, then please add 0009 at the beginning of the number.

Q9. How can I call when Internet access is not available from my system?

You will have to add [0009] before dialing each phone number. You will be charged for these calls by your phone company (NTT, etc.)

No. We can not check the status of the number you are trying to call.

Temporarily, there may be trouble with the quality of the line. Please try again later. If the trouble continues, then please contact the customer support center.

When the eADSL line is unexpectedly disconnected, then the "SpinPhone for eADSL" line will be disconnected during the conversation. You may need to check your eADSL line, so please contact the customer support center.

Q16. When I receive calls using the "SpinPhone for eADSL", the eADSL connection is disconnected.

Your eADSL line should not be disconnected by receiving the call to the "SpinPhone for eADSL". But your line can be disconnected by receiving the call from regular land line. In this case, please contact to the customer support center.

If you hear some noises when you are talking using "SpinPhone for eADSL", You may need to check your eADSL line, so please contact the customer support center.

  • Please unplug the line from the modular jack on the wall, and connect your telephone directly to there.
  • Is the power of the eADSL/SpinPhone for eADSL modem on?
  • Please check the configuration for the "SpinPhone for eADSL".
  • Are you connected to the InternetH
