You will not. You can easily install the eADSL modem with VoIP function.

The current eADSL modem does not have a VoIP function, so it needs to be replaced. When you receive a eADSL/SpinPhone for eADSL modem, then return the eADSL modem. Please note that you will be billed a 3,150yen (incl. tax) replacement fee.

To use "SpinPhone for eADSL", you must apply for SpinNet eADSL service. And then you can apply for "SpinPhone for eADSL".

The eADSL/SpinPhone for eADSL modem must be replaced with an eADSL modem that you will need to configure. (Replacement fee: 3,150yen (incl. tax))

Yes. Please return the eADSL/SpinPhone for eADSL modem within 5 days after termination of the service to the following address:

  1. Canceling "SpinPhone for eADSL" only: the eADSL/SpinPhone for eADSL modem needs to be replaced with an eADSL modem.
  2. Canceling SpinNet eADSL service and "SpinPhone for eADSL" service: the eADSL/SpinPhone for eADSL modem needs to be returned within 5 days after termination of the service to the following address:
