Dialer Software Settings [Dial-up/for Windows]
If you did not yet download and install the Dialer software, see Downloading and Installing Dialer Software. The following settings assume you are attempting to connect from Orlando, Florida, U.S.A. The display of your settings will differ depending on your location.
Step1
Start "SpinNet Consumer". Select [Settings] - [Connection settings]. Select the "Dialup" tab.

Input the following settings and click "OK."
[Device]
Select the type of modem you are using.
[Redial Attempts]
If your modem fails to connect, set how many times you want the modem to redial.
[Redial if not connected within...]
Set the time delay before the modem attempts to redial if a connection failure occurs.
[Smart redial]
Check this option to have the modem automatically redial another access point within the same area whenever the modem fails to connect.

Step3
Search for an access point in your area by taking the following steps in order. Click "Dial Properties."
[Search by location or phone number]
Select the Country, State and City/Town of your current area in that order. Click "Find."
[Phone Book]
The line "Modem" appears in the Phone Book. Click the triangle () to display the list of phone numbers for access points. Select an access point.

Make the following settings as necessary. Click "OK."
[To access outside line dial]
If dialing from a hotel or office, enter the number to dial to obtain an outside telephone line.
[To disable call waiting dial]
This sequence can usually be omitted.
[Dialing using]
Select "Tone" for a push-button phone line and "Pulse" for a dial pulse line.
[Location same as selected number]

Select this setting to omit the long-distance prefix. Use this setting when your access point can be dialed as a local call.
[Country]
Select the originating country. This setting is available only when you do not select "Access point is a local call."
[Area Code]
Input the area code of the access point. This setting is available only when "Access point is a local call" is not selected.
[Area Code Rule]
Select the "Area code specification method." Normally, select "Normal."
[Use calling card]
Select when using your calling card. Provide the details of your calling card.

Step5
Click the "Connect" button to connect to the Internet via a dial-up access point.
When finished, click "Disconnect."
