Downloading and Installing Dialer Software
(for Windows 2000/XP/Vista) |
SpinNet customers who are already using a dialing software, please uninstall the old version to prevent any troubles related to the software.
Unfortunately, "SpinNet Consumer Version 3.25" supporting period has been finished.
Since then, with the previous version of the software, updating service for telephone book data will not be available.
If you are using the dialer software for the first time, please click on "Installing Dialer Software".
*For the customer using "SpinNet Consumer iPass Connect Version3.60(for windows)"
"SpinNet Consumer iPass Connect Version3.60" has been updated to
"SpinNet Consumer iPass Connect Version3.62".
The customer using "Version3.60" needs to update it to the latest version "Version3.62".
[NOTICE] Please uninstall the current version dialer before installing the latest version
"SpinNet Consumer iPass Connect Version3.62".

| Launch SpinNet Consumer and click [Help] - [About iPassConnect]. |

A pop-up window (shown below) will appear.
If the window indicates "iPassConnect 3.25", you will need to uninstall your current version of "SpinNet Consumer" and install the latest version. In this case, exit "SpinNet Consumer" and refer to the Uninstall Manual for details. |

| Click the button below to download "SpinNet Consumer Ver. 3.62." |

Before you attempt to install the new software, exit all other applications. Next, double-click the downloaded file, "spinnet_consumer_362.exe."
Click "Next" to begin the install. |

| Read the License Agreement. If you agree, check the box indicating "I hereby give my consent to use of my information as set forth above." Click "Yes." |

| Click "Next" to install the software in the same location. To install the software in a different folder, select the new folder and click "Next." |

| Check the checkbox labeled Launch "SpinNet Consumer". Click "Finish." Start "SpinNet Consumer Version 3.62." |

| Once SpinNet Consumer has started, select [Settings] -[Login Information]. |
 |
Input the following settings and click "OK."
（The following example is for a customer whose connect login name is 01234567@tka.jpn.）） |
[User name]
Enter the text appearing before the @ mark in the SpinNet connect login name: 01234567
[Domain]
Enter the text appearing after the @ mark in the SpinNet connect login name: tka.jpn
[Password]
Enter your connect login password. |

| Select [Settings]- [Connection Settings]. Select the "General" tab. |

To have your regular browser start up automatically each time you connect to the Internet, check the checkbox.
